Join us as we clean up around the shoreline of White Rock Lake Park. We will be participating in this activity every month, so mark your calendar!! This is a family-friendly activity! So bring the kids!
All of the spruce-up supplies are provided, including trash bags, recycling bags, and latex gloves. Please remember to wear rubber boots or shoes that you don't mind getting wet or dirty. Feel free to bring any other items such as a rake to gather trash.
A “continental breakfast” is provided featuring Starbucks hot coffee, goodies from Great Harvest Bread Co., Highland Park Cafeteria, Marsue’s Kitchen, orange juice and chocolate milk, and bottled water. Wow, what a great spread!
AND, music is provided by a D-Jay! They sure know how to treat their volunteers!
This is an excellent community service project. Participate in two consecutive Spruce-Ups, and receive a Second Saturday T-Shirt.
We will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the For The Love of The Lake office in Casa Linda Plaza and then drive to our very own section that we will clean. We will get our sign in a few months!!

Yup, we show up, do what we can, and then when we can't stand it we go to the coffee shop. :)
It's going to be cold and rainy. :( I suppose we still go, though, rain or shine?
